LANSING –The Great Lakes Education Project (GLEP) today proudly endorsed candidates for the state House of Representatives who have demonstrated a real and lasting commitment to put Michigan kids first, to defend teachers from attacks in Lansing, and to prioritize literacy and other efforts needed to help kids catch up after years of disastrous anti-science pandemic-era school lockouts.
“GLEP backs candidates who put parents and students first,” said GLEP Executive Director Beth DeShone. “Lansing has spent years locking kids out of their classrooms, targeting students who learn online, and making it more difficult for our children to get the education they need at school.
